Can I Have Spiritual Blessings?

God has many spiritual blessings that he wishes to give to us. Paul wrote to the church at Ephesus, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,” (Ephesians 1:3). What are these blessings? What does the Bible Say?

Adoption as sons. (Ephesians 1:5)
Making us accepted. (Ephesians 1:6)
Redemption, the forgiveness of sins. (Ephesians 1:7)
Knowledge of God’s will. (Ephesians 1:9)
An eternal inheritance. (Ephesians 1:11)
The truth: the gospel of salvation. (Ephesians 1:13)
Faith in Jesus. (Ephesians 1:15)
The love of the saints. (Ephesians 1:15)

In the first chapter of Ephesians we read that these blessings are according to God’s grace and to His good pleasure.

Where are these blessings found? What does the Bible say? To receive these blessings it is important to notice that these blessings are “in Christ”. Galatians 3:27 says that baptism puts us into Christ. We invite you to study with us so that we can learn about being “in Christ” and receiving the blessings of God.
